I had a brutal 2017 and I'm crawling out from under a major depressive episode. I don't want to talk about any of that. But after a good day today, I'm relatively cheerful. So here is a survey that's been going around Facebook. 

 

• Favorite smell - Real vanilla, cinnamon, honeysuckle

• Last cry - Last week at the wonderful local Unitarian Universalist fellowship we've joined, listening to someone read a poem about the death of her alcoholic mother. ow.

• Job - None right now. In transition. Volunteering a lot with said UU fellowship while I figure out some things, including how to do writing again and whether I want to get a BA/BFA or AA in graphic design.

• Favorite pizza - Combo that’s mostly veggies 

• Favorite flowers - Peonies

• Favorite dog breed - No strong preference

• Favorite foot attire - SmartWool socks

• Roller Coaster - No, thank you

• Hair color - Currently purple, teal, blue, and blonde. It’s a few months old, so faded into pastels.

• Favorite ice cream - Pistachio, coffee

• Pet peeve - AP Style. OXFORD COMMA FOREVER.

• Shorts or jeans - Depends on the season. Here in the Pacific Northwest, mostly jeans.

• What are you listening to right now - Our cat fountain in the background. (It’s a wee indoor fountain that keeps the water circulating and thus tasting fresh. Yes, we are ridic cat parents.)

• Color of vehicle - Blue

• Color of eyes - Gray, shading to blue or green depending on my mood and what I’m wearing

• Favorite holiday - Don’t have one right now. Too many recent deaths. Holidays are complicated.

• Night owl or day person - Night owl

•Favorite day of the week - Saturday

•Favorite nickname - None

• Favorite type of music - Too hard to choose. 

• Tattoos - One, a tree of life with Celtic knot work on my left wrist. Couple more in the planning stages.

• Do you like to cook - Yes!

• Beer or wine - I reject this false binary. Oregon has so many great makers of both!

• Can you drive a manual shift - Yes

•Favorite color - Purple

• Do you like vegetables - Yes!

• Do you wear glasses - Yes

• Favorite season - Spring
